MODELMAKING
3d Printing
While the initial rough prototypes used 25 lb foam the nature of creating a wearable called for a much higher fidelity material to take to the next level.
Acrylate Printing
At this scale 3D resin printing was the best option for creating a stunning 1:1 cosmetic prototype. Using hi-def acrylate as a printing material, extremely high levels of precision with details as small as .1 mm were achievable.
